1) you skate fetchingly from the concept  "average" to the concept
"typical"  - and yet they are quite different. Surely the point is, what %
of that segment of the market with a far higher imode bill can be
persuaded to look at a silly trailer?

2) Why assume that the "typical" imode user (insofar as that makes sense)
will continue to spend the same amount when presented with new services
through phones with new capabilities, some of which may be compelling to
them? If you had told me a few years ago how much I currently spend on
keitai, I would have laughed in your face.
