More "slow news day, BBC web-news monkeys are bored" type flat phone fun.

Marginally related, but paper thin voice activated bugging devices using
the phone network to call remote voice recorders are surely not far away.
One could possibly even send them as part of a letter - and
surreptitiously listen in on the recipients immediate response....
