at least in Japan, I can't see how the FOMA and J-Phone IMT can
compete with au/KDDI, though I think Vodafone will probably win
DoCoMo on the UMTS playground. let's see next summer-autumn.
GSM was a better network than IS-41 but I believe cdma2000 has
far better radio and IP core networks than UMTS. I don't know
4G much but cdma2000 -> ofdm2010 is my closest imagination.
is there a possibility China will export its TD-SCDMA one day?
