A candybar also gives you all the functions straight away, without the
hassle of having to open it up to get to more functionality or do a
phone call.

I'm not a big fan of flip phones (because they're generally too thick),
but they do have one advantage: you don't have to deal with keypad
locking. Just close the phone, and when you come back to it, you're
where you were. Very fast and very convenient. But these new rotating
phones don't even give you that, since they expose so many keys.
