Last year I was in Tokyo (during momo in april or may, we saw 
colorcodes..), and a friend (25) had seen QR codes, but she didn't know 
what to do with them..

I showed her, but it just didn't work very well.. You have to put the 
cam on macro first, and even then it's not very easy to capture..
She had a new phone.. NEC (can't remember the exact model..) NTT DoCoMo..

So I'm not sure other people know what to do with it.. things might have 
changed the past year ofcourse..


Maybe I'll be in Japan this summer again.
