I'm interested in demonstrating a network-aware Symbian native app in
Japan, as well as a network-aware MIDlet.

I'm currently based in Seattle and It's been a few years since I was
in Japan working with iApplis, so while I'm not a complete novice,
much of what I know may no longer be relevant.

Symbian first.

Is Vodafone KK the only applicable service?

What handset should I use for the demo?

Is there a Symbian handset (N70?) that will run in USA and Tokyo? If
so, that seems preferable. I could install the app here before I
leave.

Otherwise, what? I read in the archives about the problems installing
Symbian apps on the 702NK... By the way, I saw in the archives that
Nick May was going to post a how-to on this, but I couldn't find it.
Can someone point me to the unsis how-to?

(Can I install a Symbian-signed app on 702NK?)

Any other pointers or gotchas worth mentioning?

MIDP.

Same questions for MIDP. Can I use, for example, a Sony Ericsson
K750i on Vodafone KK?

If not? Suggestions? (Does JBenchmark run on Vodafone KK handsets?
Opera Minibrowser MIDlet? Handsets that run these would be good
candidates for my demo...)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
