Could someone please clarify...
Were one to:
1) Purchase a pre-paid Nokia in rainy England
2) Pay to have it unlocked
3) Bring it to sunny Japan
4) Use it with a VodaJP SIM card
5) Enter those settings that are known for VodaJP
What exactly would not work in JP? SMS? MMS? Voda Web? Packet/Opera?
How - if at all - would VodaJP be the loser?
(My understanding from Nik's post is that it is primarily a
regulatory issue that keeps VodaJP from blessing foreign phones on
its network)
