Wakeboarding season starts aproximately one month earlier in Estonia than in Finland. Hot spot of the scene at the moment is Pärnu.

Thanks to Karel of Alleaa OÜ and the rest of the crew we have had 7 great weekends of wakeboarding already. P�rnu river is soo warm compared to the sea. Since it is S shaped you can almost always find calm water from there. So if you want to try give Karel a call.

Wake Up Helsinki, a new Wakeboarding team in Helsinki will be organizing Finnish Wakeboarding Tour stop in Helsinki this year. The competition will be hel 16th of july. As an organizer I hope we will see you all in there :)

It is always nice to get new toys. My new Liquid Force WUD Flat 45 Foam wakeskate arrived today. Since it is last years model it was a bargain. Thanks again Viki. Now all you need is temperature some other than minus 20 degrees celcius.

Got another delivery from Actionsports DVD today. The service was again excellent as usual. Currently there is no way for European extreme sport video resellers possible to compete with the prices and the service offered by american stores. Three wakeboard DVD movies and postage was 32 euros. The amount is so small you do not even have to pay customs.

PS. There are some new pictures in Vanavesi galleries. The sea has not been covered by ice during the whole winter. Maybe the season wil start sooner this year.

To all those looking for image gallery module for Mambo there is not one anymore. The site does not use Mambo anymore.

Wakeboard season has started today. Water was chilly as expected but still felt as summer. This date sets a new personal record. Last year the season started 22nd of May.

Sun is shining and I am back, kinda. Got a package from Actionsports DVD today. Their service was excellent. I have ordered several DVD’s from them earlier and have always been pleased with them. This time they were faster than usual. I placed the order monday this week. The package was on my desk in the friday morning. Keep in mind Actionsports DVD is located in US and you still can get shorter delivery times than what you would get from most Finnish mail order shops. Thanks Heather! ;)

This friday evening will be spent with sixpack of Karhu accompanied by Boombox and Blacklist.
