The Japanese Palm OS and English OS are nearly identical, so running US apps
on a Japanese Palm is 99% no problem. Running Japanese apps on US Palm
obviously has display and string processing problems.

Also, using a palm with a cellphone as a wireless modem is generally not a
big deal. It does NOT connect to i-mode; it just uses the phone as a modem.
