Behind? How can you say that? We've got
more varieties of mobile phones than
Heinz has pickles. Where else in the
world can a consumer pick from 5
wholly different air interfaces?

Sheesh.

Cheers, Scott

Hi,

Interesting article:

Asia's Wireless Destiny: Andy Grove vs. My Maid
http://www.techbuddha.com/articles/andygrovevsmymaid.html

Asians who haven't visited the States may be surprised at America's
backwardness when it comes to mobile technology. Cite as many
chest-thumping 'America is hi-tech god' treatises as you like, the
fact remains that the United States lags much of the world, and
especially Asia, in mobile phone technology.

Cheers,
Andrea
