Here is a pretty good bench mark of the phones (in Japanese though) with a
bit more detail.
http://www.zdnet.co.jp/mobile/0103/21/bench.html

At the end it seems to show a list of programs and whether or not they are
useable
or not for each phone. It was the newer phones ran the games well, the
older (P and F) ran it just
at a usable rate. Interesting... At first, I was pretty skeptical about
the worry of speed performance
with i-applis, but I suppose it is possible. Although, I really wonder if
this is more of an issue for the next
generation i-appli phones. 10KB programs seems to be the more limiting
factor to me, of course the demo
and intro scene managed to wonders within just this size of programs.

Stats courtesy of Spicysoft. Suspicious-sounding quote from them:

"With large differences in performance, there will be a case where
the same Java application can not work on every handset even if
their API on a Java execution environment has compatibility."

Eh?

Other discrepancies suggest this study might be a case of "Lies,
Damned Lies, and Software Benchmarks."
