Thanks. We normally don't work so much with PHP so after discovering GD had
dropped GIF support where at a lost to get a hold of a PRE-EVOL-UNISYS
version.

        GD with GIF support patched back to it ;) As you said it is
        GD which has dropped the gif support and not PHP. You can
        get it back by either using old GD library or a new patched
        one. These can be found at:
