It seems that NTT Docomo is often following the policy of taking only half
steps in the development of new services (= deliberately doing less than what
is already technically possible), so that users and developers both can catch
up with the ongoing development.

Two "IF"s, from which especially the second one is risky. Users never have
enough patience, and especially not the thumb generation of all. Mobile
Internet users tend to have even shorter attention spans than the already short
tempered desktop Internet users. The trend for the future is going towards less
partience, not more.
