I was partaking far too much in the offerings of a local Minamisenba wine
bar when I noticed a rather interesting use of PHS:
On the wall was a small box with an LCD screen and what looked like a
fingerprint reader. From this box a cord ran up the wall with a PHS phone
attached to the end.
The bar manager confirmed the box was indeed a fingerprint reader and was
used by centrally manage staff clocking in and out. Anyone else seen these
in operation?
