I suggest just have the "middle pack" for JPY 2,400. only once I used
more than JPY 10,000 worth of packets coming with the middle pack.
the JPY 1,200 "packet pack" is cheaper if you use less than JPY 5,400,
or choose "super pack" if more than JPY 30,333 (all at JPY 0.27/pkt).
I enclosed notes at the end for those who don't want to read Japanese.
btw, for au/KDDI, you can call 157 to change your plan at the end of
the month and it'll go back and apply from the 1st day. check your
usage (ez menu 1:9:3:2) at 25th and call 157 may save you several
hundred yen, if anyone bother to do that.
the new sexy Panasonic FOMA P2102V handset will hit the street this
Saturday, but au is absolutely the phone you want to carry everyday.
