(keitai-l) Network connections testing for DoJa appli

Hello gurus!

I was wondering, what is the accepted practice for building and testing
the DoJa applis that require network connections (client/server)? Say,
if I build with an emulator, is there a way to test i-mode network
connections (HTTP)? Or must I always put the DoJa appli online, download
and install it on the handset, and then test network connections in real
i-mode? Hope there is some workaround with the emulator :) 

Also, maybe someone knows an i-mode Gateway simulator to install on the
PC and to do development in "off-line" mode, with no need to go to
i-mode every time one needs to test HTTP call to the server?
