We are facing some problems with Wap Push messaging process, please have a look at the problem and if possible please send us your opinion.
Let me give details of project.
We are going to make a one site which will send a Wap Push Message to the users mobile.
We have decided to use mBlox sms gateway for this process.
What we know about Wap Push Messaging Process is:
WAP Push allows a content server to push content to a WAP 1.2 enabled handset proactively.
This is done by sending a specially formatted (Push Application Protocol, PAP) XML document to the Push Proxy Gateway (PPG), that in turn forwards it to the handset.
Does it mean that mBlox must support a WAP Gateway?
As far as I know mBlox does not support Wap Push Gateway and even if we are able to send a message in the PAP Protocol, the end server which actually sends Wap Push message needs to have a Push Proxy Gateway.
