some i-mode handset, the 502's support HTML tags for text messaging.
the ACCESS browser/mail client was designed quite ignorant when it
comes to error handling in trade for small footprint. one can send
an HTML formatted message and halt the recipient's phone.
contrary to its marketing hypes, DoCoMo never thought seriously
about multimedia messaging and still today its FOMA data service
is a pile of mess. a FOMA subscriber can exchange messages
simpler/easier (but slower) with au/KDDI or Vodafone.jp friends than
DoCoMo's own subscribers.
