DoCoMo specifies either Symbian or Linux for FOMA handsets.
had enough with TRON. though only Fujitsu handsets (F2051, F2102V,
F900i, and F900iT) use Symbian at the moment. Mitsubishi and Sharp
will join later.

NEC has been working with MontaVista for sometime, a lot of rumors,
but still there is no date for a product release.

Symbian or Linux, the scale of software development for handsets is
ever expanding. the second most important natural resource after
crude oil that Japan requires is probably "brain" (Michael Moore is
selling some hot boiled ones).

I believe Symbian will soon need a heart transplant using RT Linux.
aren't they already doing it?
