not sure that the docomo voice calls over 3g is a 64bit csd call. the video
call is but that is only because at the moment csd guarentees the bandwidth.
thats stil an improvement on the single channel non 3g/gsm phones by a
multiple 7 - going on the assumption that 9600 is one channel csd.

the point that is was reiterating was the voice benefits and extended
bandwidth from 3G - videophone follows.

Hmm. No longer a dream, not since motorola made that first videocall in the
1950s - its reality now.
This thread reminds me of the launch of wap or gprs or j2me. these
technologies are complimentary to voice and as is the case with gprs and
wap - in europe anyway - their inclusion is now standard. the day will come
when even the cheapest mobiles will have video telephony and then we will be
discussing 4/5g, 3d holographic projection or whatever joyous advancement is
made.
