DoCoMo wont unlocked it for you. I know a man in England who unlocked my
N900iG using the same piece of kit he used to unlock Hutchinson 3
mobiles. I will email him for more info.
There is, however, a slight risk of a firmware failure. A small
possiblity, but if it happens the phone is useless - as with European
handsets.
