What are people's thoughts on the Japanese test input on the new
iphones?
I find it pretty functional - but then my skills in Japanese are
somewhat less then elite.
What do Japanese native language writers on the list think of it? Is
it better/worse than kotaeri? Is Japanese input on the phones going to
be an issue in the Japanese market?

(I have a vague sense of embarrassment to have an iphone this soon
after it was released - minimal effort was involved in its
acquisition, and certainly no absurd camping out. I guess the 16GB are
less in demand than the 8s.)
