"Inc."?
Kabushiki = stock, share
gaisha = kaisha = company

thus Kabushiki-gaisha = joint stock company (legal corporation)

as opposed to a partnership, sole trader, or Yugen-gaisha (limited 
liability company - small capital requirement)
