Those discerning listmembers running Macs should have a look at the "free"
iCab web browser - which, I think, allows you to set whatever user agent
string you care...

not tried it, but it might allow access to sites that just browser sniff
rather check the proxy the request is coming from. Possibly other browsers
allow this too.
