Yes, your impression is correct. While it may be the smallest of the
three main carriers, J-Phone is kind of the creative underdog and
continually comes out with cutting-edge services and handsets sooner
then its bigger competitors. The firm has created a young and innovative
brand image and was the first operator in Japan to start SMS a couple of
years ago and the first to release handsets with 65,000-color TFT
displays and integrated cameras.
