(keitai-l) Off-line use of Japanese phones

Hi all,

 I have been silently reading this list for a while, so first of all greetings
to the other list readers and my apologies if this topic has some how slipped
past my eyes.

Does anyone know if it is possible to somehow load Java applications into NTT
phone without on-line connection to network? How about these new KDDI devices? I
think this might be possible with Nextel/Motorola i85s at US since it actually
doesnt even support on-line downloading at version 1 release.
