I'm trying to find out just how technically advanced mobiles phones are
in Europe. I know that they are 1 or 2 years behind Japan, but in
particular I'd like to know:
- do they have colour displays?
- can they play multi-voice chakumelo (ringing tones)?
- are there any Java-capable phones?
- what involvement do Japanese manufacturers (handsets, displays,
chips...) have in this industry?
Does anyone have any good information or links they could share?
