Something interesting I saw posted on a Japanese ML.
If you are having trouble trimming down the size of your iApplis so they can
fit on your phone you can use some tools (JavaBlender or RetroGuard ) to
compress the iappli jar file itself while still leaving it as an executable
file.
Some users have reported compression ratios greater than 50% others (include
me) have had more modest but still significant reductions.

If you find a bug, the author of JavaBlender offers to fix it for you.
