You will not be able to send an SMS to a non-GSM phone in the US using any
of the GSM networks SMSC's such as the MTN network's SMSC, due to the
incompatibility of the TDMA IS136 or CDMA networks in the US to the GSM
networks globally. You would need to get access to the US-based TDMA or CDMA
network's SMSC.

If you want to test this specific game from Moxze on non-GSM phones in the
US, it will not work, as I doubt they will allow access from any
international players due to the potential commercial issues - these games
are normally not free, although receiving and SMS on a GSM phone is normally
free of charge, but not sending one.

The best emulator for SMS is to link the application in via a network and
test it in live conditions. Which network are you looking at testing on in
the US? Most networks in the US offer and SMTP interface that allows you
access to their SMSC's e.g 10digit_mobilenumber@mobile.att.net for AT&T
wireless. However, replying using the SMTP interface is not always available
and sometimes very cluegy. It may be easier for you to test your application
on any of the GSM PCS networks in the US such as Voicestream or Cingular.

You can contact me off-line from the keitai list for more details.
