    No answer that I know about but I have a slightly different experience.
This was done about 3-9 months ago, the network may have changed since then.

    I did A LOT of testing using the email on J-Phone.  I didn't do any
header fiddling.  Sometimes the email would arrive immediately.  Other
times it wouldn't arrive for minutes and minutes.  So I would send another
and another email.  And sooner or later they would all arrive together.

    I kept no records to see if any of the emails got lost or not.

    All my emails were sent automated, I hardly ever  wrote content into them myself.
All they contained was a link to a sound file.

    My feeling is that there is no SPAM filter (at least at that time, I rarely got
SPAM until recently).  Its probably just because I work at a place with a bad
J-Phone connection.

    Recently (the past month) I have see the bars go down to 0 quite often.
Its very frustrating, but I don't mind too much, because its good to test stuff
in the worst possible conditions.  That way we make stuff to compensate for
the bad connection..

    Those bars are fun to watch.
