Thanks Ken

Actually I think that Jeurgen (sorry if I misspelled!) originally had this
idea a long time ago - one of his innovative uses for an i-mode handset
posting if my memory serves me correct!

Wonder if anyone has ever tried it? Sounds a bit impractical - I wondered
if it would be possible to disconnect the wires to the LCD and then build a
converter that can convert the signal to a vga? Must be possible.

Regards

Jamie

hard work for a little profit:

depending on the LCD packaging, you may able to detach an LCD
from the basis/backlight, cover it between glasses and extend
it from the handset to be put directly on a projector.

should ask someone who repairs handsets for living ...
if you really want do a lot of presentations for a Z8

Fellow Keitaiers,

Its been a while since I have posted anything to this list and this time I
have a question.

I am involved with some i-mode testing in Europe and am trying to find a way
of connecting an imode phone to a projector so that I may display the
contents to a larger audience. So far I have tried a video camera - the
results are rather poor although the screen is discernible to the audience
at least.

I wondered if any "professional" device or piece of software exists for
doing this.
