Is this a structural problem, or is it just poor implementation/lack of
resources?

3) You suggest that Docomo chose c-html because they felt "out of
control". In retrospect, was it the right decision, given the ease of
content production that c-html allows  - which helped them to the number
of nodes referenced in:

 value of a network is ~ to that of the nodes^2 

4) How hard would it be to add sms to - say - the 505 stream of handsets?
