the feature challenged i-mode mail used to have a limit of 500 bytes
but DoCoMo extended it to "4,000" celebrating the Independence Day.

if you send 4000 bytes, 8 separate messages (1/8 - 8/8) of 500 bytes
will be received on the handset. very inconvenient but you can now
at least read the whole message.

swing from FOMA back to MOVA, DoCoMo still has a long way to go to
catch up with J-Phone and au/KDDI. extended message and i-shot are
more marketing propagandas to say "we also have what they have".

why is the Sharp SH251i handset so strangely positioned, a high-end
handset put in the low-end series, instead of an "SH504i"?

because DoCoMo doesn't want people to really buy it.

cheers,
  Ken

Hi All,

Does anybody know off hand what the email size limits are for the
different phones? I'm particularly interested in knowing the docomo
email size limits and whether they are measured in lines or characters.

Thanks in advance.
