hello,
Does anyone know if there a way for phones to access information through
the same FM subcarrier technology that Microsoft has proposed for special
watches?
http://wireless.newsfactor.com/perl/story/20423.html although clearly many
of the services that microsoft is proposing for watches already exist on
phones (various mail services), it might be nice to download some
information without paying packets. Further, perhaps it might be possible
for radio stations to send text info with their broadcast that could be
picked up by the phone (a simple example would be a URL).
cheers,
