Apple's iSync supports the SyncML
(http://www.openmobilealliance.org/syncml/) standard for mobile devices
and while Sony, Nokia et al. support and use the SyncML outside Japan,
Sony's bluetooth offering in Japan uses its own propriety format.

This means my cool, new Powerbook syncs with my Palm and any GSM
bluetooth phone flawlessly, it has nothing to say to a bluetooth phone
here.
