you can't do that with java.
i always wondered why there is no buffered player for streaming audio 
data in all the java APIs, but after reading your discussion i think it 
may be to prevent exactly that mp3-player.
you shall only listen to DRM-protected music and only use the "save" 
player built in the phone. the easiest way to block out other players is 
to permit file access and audio streaming for java applis.
