au/KDDI said again at Wireless Japan that they will go with BREW only

from an operator's point of view, the content providers only get a
small slice of the pie and a handful of development companies are
doing most of the mega hit contents.
... or maybe au/KDDI only gives away the authority of defining
the Java interface to their handsets to a BREW developer?
