To all intents and purposes, the (European) Vodafone Live service IS 'i-mode'. It uses cut-down web pages delivered to handsets with big colour screens over a packet network. The buiness model is the same, even if some of the prices are different. It may be that the delivery mechanism uses bits of the WAP spec over GPRS rather than HTTP over GPRS, but who cares?Received on Tue Oct 7 13:37:58 2003
