TOKYO — NTT DoCoMo Inc will stop offering its second-generation cell
phone services by 2012, President Masao Nakamura said Friday.
The plan will affect some 40 million users of the company's "mova"
second-generation handsets, accounting for 85% of the company's cell
phone users, forcing many to switch to the third-generation services by
2012.
