(keitai-l) w41s test-enabled mode

Hi,

I am trying to download a BREW application onto my W41S handset (running on
the au for KDDI network in Japan).  I've got the BREW AppLoader and the
MySync USB cable as should be the case, but it still cannot connect to the
Embedded File System.

I've done some digging around and I believe I need to put the handset into a
kind of diagnostic or 'test-enabled' mode.  Does anyone know anything of
this?  I'm running into a brick wall in trying to find information.
