(keitai-l) Re: SIM cards in Japan 2008

This is a bit late, but last time I asked SoftBank (within the past
year), they wouldn't sell me a subscription SIM either -- I had to buy
a phone. Makes sense, their recent strategy is clearly "make plans
(relatively) dirt-cheap and sell really expensive phones often."
