There has been many news that DoCoMo will export i-Mode to Europe within
this year. I have not seen any news which network solution European version
of i-Mode would be using. If it is introduced over the present GSM-network,
it would be utilizing SMS and that would be a step backwards. So, I suppose
that service would be running over GPRS-network?
Does anyone have more detailed information on technological solutions for
Europe (and US)?
