(keitai-l) How to get Handset ID for non-503i DoCoMo phones, maybe.

I was poking about trying to see if and how unofficial J-Sky
sites can get the handset id for J-Sky and I came across information
on how to do it for DoCoMo. I don't know if this is accurate
or not, but in the fine print it says (only works for
official sites) so its not too useful yet, but it is interesting.

So many people have asked about this and I think here is a rough
translation of what I found:

Each user has a unique id. The user ID is 12 characters long and consists of
letters and numbers. In the URL place the following request: uid=NULLGWDOCOMO
The i-mode gateway will then replace NULLGWDOCOMO with the userid. The
recipient will recieve a confirmation window.

I make no guarantees on this, but maybe its accurate. The original is on Japanese
at the following URL with lots of other useful stuff:

Feel free to correct me here.

Maybe someone should write a magical object that jumps out of the phone,
removes the battery, takes a picture of the handset ID replaces the battery
goes back into the phone and scans the ID into a ASCII String for use in code.
