Hello,
This product costs roughly 300000 yen. We got it much cheaper since we
had some other products Xservlet etc purchased from Flexfirm....
Highly priced compared to the mechanism they have employed.
It is just a box which has a camera fitted into it and connected to the PC
over USB. The keystrokes are passed on the serial cable from the PC.
So the keystrokes needed to reach a site, perform some operations can be
set up as
test cases and execution of the same will give you the screen snapshot wise
report in Excel. It was a good piece for testing, which later just doubled
up as a presentation
device for my company.
By the way we had an offshore setup back in India and the team which
developed the
mobile application there used to login through the terminal service client
and use the
mystapad device remotely. Though network speeds and response times were a
bottleneck, the
team did make optimum use of the same.
 Regards
Manish
