Moderately interesting analysis piece from wireless watch about apple/
nokia/linux, and the lessening of importance of Symbian.

It has been said that Apple has little to offer the mobile phone
world - I beg to differ. System 60 is a pig's ear. The Mac OS X
finder is a porcine auricle too - but is still (arguably - and let's
not here, life being short and all that...) better than anything else
in sight bar Macos 9. A decent interface for a phone I have not yet
met - and Apple could provide some thoughtful input as phones become
more complex.

That said, I doubt any smart-phone has the brass-monkey-deficient's
to run linux at a reasonable pace just yet. I guess it is heavier
that Symbian OS - and on a 200mhz ARM 9 (the 6630) Symbian/System 60
is a dog with a headache.
