If you are developing for KDDI don't expect that you will be able to use the
J2ME VM on BREW as they have chosen not to support it, however they do
support FLASH on BREW.

The problem with the BREW OS is that Qualcomm has allowed Carriers to choose
what parts they want to have active on their network, meaning that unless
you develop in BREW it will be difficult to transport your application
across carriers, and then on top of that KDDI has its own proprietary
components it has added to BREW that other Carriers don't support (BREW 2.1
& 3.1)

Whoever said ubiquity obviously wasn't talking about some kind of global
development write once community. :)
