Do I get also your finger if I help you? I can start a
collection... ;)

Actually it's not important if your computer has the right 
japanese encoding. You type in the URL, click the right
checkbox (means: translate from japanese to english) and
the orange button. Suddenly you will be redirected to 
a frame page with some content (ignore it...it says that
you have to wait some seconds). After a while the page
will be reloaded and voila: english translated text on your
page. It works really, really good with informal japanese
texts (like DoCoMo pressreleases) and not really good with
some casual written japanese.

Trust me, I use it since weeks. A japanese programmer sended
me this link to stay informed about his online diary of working in
a startup ;)
