In the Nikkei BP story linked below (credited to Taiwan's Commercial Times),
the writer states:
"Japan's NTT DoCoMo will introduce a pioneering 3G service for commercial
use this November, and launch fully developed commercial services in May
2001."
I'm not sure this is true. AFAIK, DoCoMo's doing a lot of 3G testing right
now (and has been for some time), but there's no commercial operation yet.
Can anyone confirm this? If so, what level of services will appear in Nov.
vs. May?
