Forgot to mention another option for showing your audience your Keitai screen: use a Sony PlayStation to Keitai cable (cost around 3500 yen). You will need a PlayStation 1 or 2.
You can access the i-menu from one of these phones:
SO503i, F503i, P503i
N502it, F502it, P502i
More recently released phones may also be able to connect.
i-Appli are not viewable.
