Hello All,

Recently we have seen NTT press releases saying that
a sizable amount of revenue is being generated by Java iAppli's

How is this measured?
[1] Based on number of packets which are clocked by
users downloading iAppli to their handsets

or

[2] Based on number of packets which are clocked by
users downloading iAppli to their handsets
     and
The amount of data which an iAppli downloads
as per the application requirements via HTTP

So a real world example is,
[1] The number of packets taken to download an iappli browser Hanpake

or

[2] The number of packets taken to download an iappli browser Hanpake
    and
The number of packets due to downloading of data by the Hanpake browser
    via HTTP

Why I ask this question is because if the answer is point number 2 then
there is some way (HTTP header?) DoCoMo server knows that the request
coming from a mobile is from the imode browser or an iAppli.
